Jaume Sanllorente will give a speech to the UN Secretary General
Jaume Sanllorente ,Chairman of the Advisory Board, is one of two people selected to deliver a short speech during the ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of the United Nations, which will take place on Thursday in Madrid and will be chaired by the King and Queen of Spain and the UN Secretary General, Ban-Ki-Moon.
The professional career of Sanllorente in front of the NGO Mumbai Smiles, in addition to his involvement with other organizations and human rights activism, were some of the factors that have led to the event coordinators to choose Jaume Sanllorente to participate in the ceremony, also commemorating 60 years since the entry of Spain in the UN.
The United Nations (UN) was founded on June 26, 1945 in San Francisco (USA) by 51 signatories to its charter, which came into force on October 24, 1945, after being ratified by China France, USSR, UK and USA, as well as most of the signatories. In the Charter, the countries pledged to maintain international peace and security, to develop friendly relations among nations and promoting social progress, better living standards and human rights, thus establishing the fundamental principles should govern international relations.
