Certh India Hospital
Unfortunately, the number of elderly people abandoned by their families has increased, and so has the number of older people that don’t have a family. Thus, JAL identified the need for a welcoming place for elders in need, where they could live with dignity until the end of their lives. In 2016, JAL opened the Senior Home Project: a place for elderly men and women without resources and who live on the streets. JAL currently provides two reception centers for people aged between 67 and 92: one center for women and another one for men. In these centers, comprehensive, personalised care is provided to each individual, based on their conditions and disabilities, such as hearing or visual impairment, or chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, etc. This JAL project provides a friendly family atmosphere for all members in the Senior Homes.
